Fentastic(#4 In Our Wilderness Series)
While this one is somewhat easy to find please take the time and educate yourself about the Fen. The entire walk is probably only about a half hour but there is much to learn and interesting wildlife near this cache.
This cache is located approximately 3 feet off the trail. Do not hike into the FEN! You'll only need to slide a log over a few inches to see the cache. It's in an cammo painted container. Since it is right off the trail please be sure not to let anyone spot you taking/replacing the cache.
I located this right off the trail in respect of the wildlife and sensitive fen. I loved the location and looked hard to find this "right off the trail" location.
Unlike the other Wilderness series caches there is parking here and it's a rather short trip. The area though is well preserved and natural.
One final note dogs are not permitted in this area. Sorry to say but I had to leave my puppies in the car. It is a short walk though so they won't be missing too much.
