CNMI stands for Confederation of the Northern Marianas Islands. These islands differ from the other U.S. Possessions in that they are not actually owned by the U.S. After control of the islands passed from the hands of the Empire of Japan into the hands of the United States Marines in 1944, the population elected to remain under the administration of the U.S. Your tax dollars at work.
The cache is located along a not very busy road. It contains a log and a BIG $10 prize for FTF. BYOP. No credit without your signature. There's enough room to park your vehicle on the grassy shoulder.
