The roaring you hear at this site could be the river below. Or, it could be the roaring of jets or motorboats. Or, a little of all three!
The area is open sunrise to sunset.
Your "jumping off" place is

Carefully work your way down the trail. Do stop and look at the wildflowers. The yuccas have bloomed, but the basket flowers are just now looking good! Verbena, Indian Blankets, and a variety of yellow flowers are also blooming this June.
Old and young (and those in between) geocachers should be cautious when the trail changes to rocks. These can roll out from under your feet and cause falls.
You might have to wait while other hikers pass by. From the cache site, it's hard to see up the trail.
Note: there is some poison ivy above and below the cache. It can be avoided if you're careful.
The cache is in a plastic box. There are about 15 items in the original cache: an Intel guy [some of his cousins are "bugged" and are traveling the world], a glider plane, a flag pin, a block of stamps [space series], Beach Boys tape, purple shoe strings, a bubble pen, and other "stuff."
