After finding over 100 caches it’s time for me to make one. So here it goes. This is a three part Multi Cache with a Small Cache at the end. Not much room for treasures. Not to worry, there are many caches in this area that do have treasures. This cache is for exercising the brain as well as the body, so the only reward is in the surroundings, getting some physical exercise, figuring it out and getting to log the find. BRING ALONG A GOOD COMPASS, A COPY OF THIS ENTRY AND A PENCIL.
Part 1:
A. Go to coordinates N38°19.426', W122°01.395'. There you must use your compass to take a magnetic heading to the second radio tower on the hill from right to the left. (See picture ONE) These three numbers should add up to a total of 10. Add 077 to this three-digit number and place it in the UUU location below.
B. Now go to coordinates N38°20.064’, W122°00.779’. There you must use your compass to take a magnetic heading to the same radio tower as above. (See picture TWO) These three numbers should add up to a total of 3. Add 450 to this three-digit number and place it in the WWW location below. VV is the last two digits of UUU.
Part 2:
A. Proceed to location N38°19.UUU’, W121°VV.WWW’.
B. At this location there is a Division of Highways Marker; on this marker is a four-digit number. Take the last three-digits of this number and subtract 752 from it. Place this three-digit number in the XXX location below. Also near this same location is a red sign with a 1-800 number on it. Take the last three digits of this number and subtract 565 from it. Place this three-digit number in the YYY location below. ZZ is the first two digits of YYY.
Part 3:
A. Proceed to location N38°ZZ.XXX’, W122°00.YYY’ to find the Micro-Cache.
B. Please relocate the Small Cache exactly where and how it was found.
