Once you have solved the puzzle, proceed to the posted coordinates and park there. From there, the cache is a simple 3 stage multicache including the final. At each stage you will find the minutes for the next stage (Degrees are assumed at N44° andW068°). All of the stages are less than 250 feet from the trail - There is no need to bushwhack more than that. The most practical path to the final stage from stage two is by backtracking past stage one, and if you come to a rickety old bridge, you may want to backtrack 100 feet from the bridge and take the other trail.
Access to the parking area can be found off the 22-000 road either by way of the Stud Mill Road from the north at N 44° 58.2276' W 68° 27.2318' or Route 9 from the south at N 44° 49.6014' W 68° 23.5207' or several locations between those listed.
Allow yourself a few hours to complete this cache. The cache is a little under 3 miles hike round trip. Elevation gain is gradual, about 350' difference between parking and the final, and the trail is rough in spots and you will most likely have to cross shallow water (6" deep max) at one location. Bring water and snacks, it is a great spot to relax and have a lunch while enjoying the location.
