Route 66 -- Roadhouse Jail Traditional Cache

This cache was placed for the 2013 Route 66 International Festival in Joplin.  Established as the annual gathering for Route 66 enthusiasts to celebrate the heritage of the Mother Road, the festival brings together Roadies, (as they are affectionately known), from around the world to share their love and passion for the historic route which dates back to 1926.

A park and grab cache along the Old Route 66 mother road in downtown Galena.  The city has been revitalizing the area with a nice city park at the location.  They also restored an old city jail where the cache is located.
