This cache is one of five in Baden-Powell Council’s "Treasures of Scouting" series. Its full name is "Baden-Powell Council, Treasures of Scouting: Cache to Cub Scouts".
The cache is a small plastic box filled with Boy Scout goodies. It is at Tuscarora Scout Reservation. It is within 30 feet of the road; please be COURTEOUS and do not approach the Ranger's home-it's not there.
For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has helped youth become more than they ever thought possible. And we’ll continue that journey into the next century.
"Cache to Cub Scouts": The Cub Scout program in the US began in 1930 and currently is open to boys in 1st through 5th grades. This Cub Scouts offers fun and challenging experiences that inspire confidence and teach important values. Cub Scout geocaching is an important addition to the Scout program. This cache is designed with the Cub Scout and other young children in mind. Please leave appropriate toys and "swag" for young people of all programs.
In addition to Cache to Cub Scouts, we’ve hidden four other caches highlighting Scouting programs. Find all five! Search "Baden-Powell, Treasures" on geocaching.com. There are postcards in each cache - turn in cards from all 5 and be entered in a random drawing for unactivated geocoins (while supplies last!). Again, there are postcards in each cache to enter yourself in the drawing.
