Geocache Description:

Hidden just off Sam's Hwy in this nice little roadside/riverside kinda park.

Are trees worth more than GOLD? I really think they are. We spent the afternoon next to the river imagining what it must have been like during the goldrush. I love this area. Looks like an old bridge used to cross here, and across the way some kind of wide spanning dams.
If anyone knows the story on the bridge or this spot, I'd sure love to hear about it. I left a pretty good size log with room for you to write stories or a note for the next Cacher, Or for me to read on my breaks when I stop by for lunch. ;) wink.
SEEMS THIS CACHE HAS BEEN MOVED, IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE HOLE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TREE FACING THE RIVER. IF IT IS NOT IN ITS PLACE PLEASE RETURN IT THERE SO THAT IS DOESNT GET MUGGLED AGAIN. THANK U.
Pretty easy cache, just a few steps from parking. Protected by a beautiful old madrone. Cammo rubber maid container. Masterfully hidden. My first cache stash. Im stoked. I truly hope u have a nice adventure every day.
Watch out for squirrels, where the cache is hidden would make a nice nut bank.
