This is a Virtual Geocache about which you must answer several questions before you may log it as a find.
1) If you are at ground zero you are looking at a dolos (plural dolosseu). A dolos is a concrete block in a complex geometric shape weighing up to 20 tons, used in great numbers to protect harbour walls from the erosive force of ocean waves.
2) Within 20 feet of the dolos there are three vertical standing concrete structures with directional signs attached. The concrete vertical structures are about one-foot square and stand about 2 to 3 feet high. The directional signs attached to them are brown and white. Please email us with what the signs say.
3) On the asphalt trail nearby, what is the white painted symbol on the asphalt. Please describe it in your email.
Please send your answers via email to NCFLYERS and go ahead and log your find. Thanks for learning a little more about this and that.
