Geocache Description:

Location: About 35 km south of Milford, Fiordland, New Zealand.

The stash is above ground, but GPS reception is very poor.
The terrain is flat but obstructed.

This divine geocache (Accuracy 50 m Elevation 374 m) is hidden in a clear snap lock plastic bag within moderately dense beech forest, about 750 m west of the car park (S 45°00.077' E 168°00.556' Elevation 315 m). You will need to cross a river to get to it, take care. You can see some photos that may or may not show the cache ;), here. See the hints for more detail.

You may get to the car park from Sate Highway 94 by turning west at about 55 km North of Te Anau at the Deer Flat sign (soon after the 45° South sign).

You may consider continuing north on State Highway 94 until you reach Milford, it is an interesting drive. You can stop at the Homer tunnel on the way to watch the Keas and there various scenic cruses etc. that you could take within Milford Sound itself.
