Geocache Description:

This particular cache is a small sized camouflaged Tupperware container. Please replace exactly as found. The path is mostly paved, very flat, and the closest of the series to the parking lot.

This is one in a series of three caches we placed in the Quinnipiac River State Park. This area is a floodplain for the river so if it has been raining recently I would avoid the area as it can get very muddy, unless you are up for the challenge. Even on a good day there is some mud, but sticking to the blue blazed trail or the paved road until you are close is the best advice I can give. This area does allow hunting so wear your orange. All caches have been placed knowing this area is a floodplain and will hopefully stay out up out of the way and dry. I recommend parking at the end of Banton Street, off of State Street, look for the sign that says "Road closed to thru traffic" at the entrance. If you are coming down CT-15 N there is a Mobil station shortly after exit 63 which you can also park at since its parking lot backs up against Banton Street.
