Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the beautiful area of Laurel ridge.

The cache should be quite easy to find. Enjoy the hike.

The facilities are Government property operated by the University of Pittsburgh Honors College for research purposes. G. Alec Stewart, the founding dean of the Pitt Honors college, was the driving force in maintaining this structure. This cache was placed together with him and renamed after his passing in 2010. Do not attempt to enter the building or move/disturb any equipment. But I am sure you would not do that.

Permission for the cache has been granted by the University of Pittsburgh which owns and operates the facilities.
Please be advised that the area surrounding the facility is a state park.

Also, a word of CAUTION:
The area is a state park and nature is left largely untouched. Before trying to search in any covered areas make sure that there are no animals or other dangers inside or around! Groundshark posted the following "Passed two rattlesnakes on the blacktop road just before it turns to dirt so beware."
