hawkeyetob: After we received a DNF for a geocache which was bike cabled to a tree, we thought this needed some investigation. Sure enough, the cache as gone. Surprising since the amount of effort to remove this particular cache would have been significant.

Time to let this one ascend into geocaching heaven!

Geocache Description:

Echo Valley State Park

3 Miles South East of West Union off of Echo Valley Road.
The Park will be on the North side just as the road turns from pavement to gravel.

Permission for the placement of this cache obtained from:
Dawn L. Amundson,Environmental Education Coordinator
Fayette County Conservation Board (FCCB)
Although this is a state park, the FCCB manages it under a management agreement

Lime Kiln

Following the nearby trail from the shelter will take you to Ground Zero which is near the Lime Kiln.
If you stray too far from the path, you may encounter some stickers or other prickly plants.
