| MTV's former headquarters
are located on Szabadság tér in downtown Budapest. The building was
constructed between 1897 and 1907 as the building of the Budapest
Stock Exchange, then housed various offices following World War II.
While it has been the headquarters of MTV since 1958, it has become
unsuitable to meet the professional and technical requirements of a
21st-century television. The building is also inappropriate for the
installation of modern infrastructure, essential for the effective
operation of the institution. The idea of moving MTV into a new
headquarters first emerged in 1993. In 2009 MTV moved to its new
production facility in Óbuda. The new headquarters building is more
suitable for satisfying the needs of digital broadcasting. The
complex is an integrated company centre and manufacturing base,
which totally complies with latest requirements of program making,
technology and logistics. MTVnow concentrates its entire
production, manufacturing, organisational and administration
activities in a modern real estate complex, at the Óbuda location.
The physical proximity of the studios, archives, property rooms and
editorial work places will considerably increase the efficiency of
work. The total area in the facility rented by MTV is 60.923
sq.meters. The so-called built-to-suit construction fully takes
into consideration the technical requirements of MTV. |
A napjainkban
rohamosan fejlodo, egyre nívósabb iroda és ipari épületekkel
beépülo óbudai helyszínen található az MTV jelenlegi gyártóbázisa.
A meglévo stúdióépület bovítéseként felépülo új stúdiókat,
archívumot és kiszolgáló létesítményeket magába foglaló gyártóbázis
mellett található a 800 munkahelyes új irodaház három-, illetve
négyemeletes tömbje. Az épület foszárnya alatt végighúzódó
passzázsra fuzodnek fel a fo közösségi funkciók (étterem, klub,
könyvtár, konferencia terem, vetíto); középso szakasza aulává
bovül, s itt csatlakozik az új stúdióépülethez is. A földszinti
passzázs mindkét oldala igényesen kialakított belso udvarokra néz.
Az ipari jelleget anyaghasználatával is hangsúlyozó (porszórt fém
hullámlemez) épület jó arányú udvaraival, belso tereinek egyszeru,
de igényes kialakításával humánus munkahelyi környezetet
teremt. |
