This cache is located in Point Defiance Park's Never Never Land.
Never Never Land opened here in 1964. It is located in the forested area by Fort Nisqually and was once inhabited by fiberglass characters whose nursery rhymes and fairy tale homes entertained generations of children. Almost any child who grew up in the Tacoma area has some memories of visiting and exploring this place, myself included.
Unfortunately over the years the displays have been disappearing and deteriorating due to age, weather damage and vandalism. The big shoe and nine other structures also remain and are enough just to prick your memory of earlier days here.
The 1/2 mile trail which loops through the forest has been renovated, overgrown trees and brush cut and the path smoothed out for easy walking. There is a play structure shaped like a boat and at least 24 picnic tables have been installed. Some fencing has been removed, allowing easier access to the play structure and picnic tables.
PLEASE REHIDE THIS VERY WELL! This has been muggled once already in the current location. Please tuck it far enough away that little curious arms can't reach it! Hide it like you own it!

The theme of this cache is toys. Bring a toy to leave and take a toy with you. Lets try to keep the swag as close to that theme as we can. When you log your find, please let us know what your favorite toy was (or is)!
