Start at the Shoup Bay Trailhead in Valdez. (N 61 degrees 08.160' W 146 degrees 23.435') Be prepared for an 7 and a half mile RT hike on a mountainside trail.
Finally made it out to Gold Creek and the cache was not there. :( Sorry to all cachers who made it out there before me this year.
I replaced the cache in the same location. It is now a camo-painted one pound coffee can containing new treasures, log book, pens & pencils.
I hope it has a long life. I will try to check it every year by Memorial Day Week-end so its ready for each new geocaching season.
