I have been traveling to Catalina Island for over 60 years. It is a
place that has always had a wonderful lure for me. Because we
travel to Catalina a lot we decided it was time to place a cache
within the city limits that geocachers could find without too much
difficulty and at the same time provide a way for people to see the
beauty of Avalon and Descanso Bays. As you look for this stay on
the roads as no bush whacking is necessary, and don't try to climb
up the hill from the bottom. The cache is in a plastic 7"X 4"
container camoed.

Took the whole week off with the intent of scoring all of the caches on Catalina Island.There were a few DNF, but with my mountain bike, we visited all of the sites on Catalina Island. Thanks for the hunt. DNF

If this one ws in some relation to the tree. The tree is now falling down the hillside. Also not a great place for stopping on the road.
