Look out for bears, moose, deer & elk on this hike. About 1 mile hike over rough terrain. There was once a dirt road that went this way, but due to new policies, the road was "tank trapped" and is now impassable by ATV or even snowmobile. Uphill hike nearly all the way. (That means downhill on the way back!

This is a nice hike in a beautiful location, we have seen bears in the area, so be careful, although if you're as loud as my crew when we are hiking, you won't see much more than the occasional deaf sasquatch!
Winter cachers: This cache could be found in the winter. If you atempt it, be sure to take someone else & don't go to the trailhead above as it is not passable on snowmobile. Start about 5 miles south of the end coords & you will have to backcountry snowmobile, so it will change the cache to a 4 or 5 star in the winter. It may be possible on cross country ski from the trailhead. Easily doable with snow shoes.
