Road "MacGyver Road" Cache Series
I have always loved this road and always
thought it should have ALOT of caches on it, instead of next to
none, and I've been trying to place a cache named for every episode
of my favorite TV Show, so here's my attempt at two birds with one
stone.
MacGyver acts on behalf of an old silent-movie comedian whose only
remaining prints of his work are stolen by a pair with a penchant
for special effects.

This series has been here a long time but I've never come to get them. Now they are interlaced with the Shakespeare cache series so decided to go get them all. Please forgive my generic log entry but there were just too many caches to remember something unique about each one.This was a great series to find, and now I see the pattern that I missed before, which constitutes the spacing of these caches. It was a nice crisp, cool, but clear, November day, and a great day to be out Thanks for placing them. JeeperDad

Out on a huge caching run with slamsmith, Baldin' Eagle, and Art Vandalay today. This was one of 170 I found on the day.
We had tons of fun especially when the blizzard rolled in.

Fun day caching with SanJoseBeanNazi, Art Vandalay, and Baldin' Eagle. We were on a trek to find as many caches on the road between Elberta and Saratoga Springs as we could. The snow on the ground made us wonder but then the day turned wonderful, til the blizzard came about an hour or so too soon. But we persevered, and found everything close to the road.

I set out on this major power trail with a couple of goals. I wanted to complete it one day and to help all the cachers who set the trail with some maintenance. I was working in coordination with JCAZ who had been on the trail a couple of times recently and provided me with the list of missing caches. I left Phoenix armed with 100 replacement containers and logs. Never did I imagine that I would use all of them to replace what a mean and vindictive cache thief has done. I used ALL of the containers and still ran short. I wish I had another 50 with me. I searched for each and every cache before hiding a replacement. I found some but ended up replacing most. It was obvious that major vandalism was in play here. What a shame that someone has to be so rotten. For the cache owners that set out the hides I offer an apology if I offended you by replacing your container without pre-permission. To the cache thief...go find another hobby. Get a life.
