Geocache Description:

August is being celebrated by geocachers around the world as the “31 Days of Geocaching.” Find a geocache, log a “Found it” (or an “Attended” for an Event Cache) and earn a unique calendar-style Geocaching souvenir for each day in August. That’s 31 souvenirs up for grabs!

 

We thought it would be fun to kick things off with a Flash Mob Event.  Who knows, it may catch on and others may wish to help fill up the August calendar with new caches or events.

We will gather at the new location for the Cedar Rapids West Library at 6:30 pm and get our picture taken by the sculpture shortly after.  We will disperse at 6:45 and everyone that attended will receive a souvenir for the first day of August.
