How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A camo-taped jar, placed for you to try your Extra Sensory Perception - but you already knew that. Please, no trade items - I'm afraid they might damage the contents in the cache.

Play your "hunch" to find the log. Post how many tries you find it in. Move the log, if you want, and don't forget to add your "energy" to the correct container for the next finder.

The sixth sense is a term sometimes used to refer to psychic abilities such as channeling and hearing the dead talk, ESP (telepathy, clairvoyance and precognition) and telekinesis.

At this cache the spirits offer you a chance to test your paranormal powers.
After you have found the cache, please place your own "aura" around the correct container for the next cacher.

Hello and welcome to this most miraculous day o precious one.
I greet you as our auras play a cosmic symphony together.

You have come to dip into the spirit world.
You have an old soul.
You are both the fruit and the vegetable.

Whoa the air is getting hot!

All the great 5-digit caching spirits are packed together, to herald and guide you on your quest. They know where the cache is hidden, and they know where the log is. Along with the previous finder, they have placed an aura around the correct cache container for you, as a sign.

LOOK!

Next to you is the famous cacher Christopher Columbus, who was forced to discover a whole new world when he ran out of caches in his homeland.

And hovering over him is Captain Jack Sparrow, whose temperamental GPSr/compass led him on many an adventure for treasure.

And standing behind you is Enzo Ferrari, who developed an extra quick way to travel from cache to cache to keep his 'L30' statistic above 10/day.

Woooaaaahhh -- what's happening ??!!---
All the spirits are coming together into a spirit mass of joy and jubilation. They are surrounding you. They're singing to you about the correct container!

Can you hear it?
I can totally hear it.
