I was in this area to find a cache, and the area looked big enough for another. I wandered around the perimeter from the parking area in the New Britain Township Park. I saw the paved walkway go over a footbridge. It then continued to the street in Chalfont. About 50 feet to the left, a path entered the woods. That's all I needed to see. I followed the path to the creek. Once there I saw a really nifty way to cross dry shod to the island. This may not work well after a rain. The island area is limited, so finding the cache shouldn't be too hard. In addition, the cache should not be affected by flooding. I believe that detectives would call this a clew. The cache is small, but much longer than a film canister. There is a big $50 prize with U.S. Grant's handsome portrait for FTF. Not much more will fit. When you come back across the creek, the footbridge will be in sight. But you will have to walk through chest-high vegetation to take the direct route. Let me know how you feel about this place.
