Troop 1291 Traditional Geocache
Moun10Bike: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

An easy hike in an urban park. There are a couple of different routes to the cache, but neither one is horribly steep and both are well-developed trails.
This cache was created by Junior Girl Scout Troop #591 (now troop #1291) from Seattle, Washington. We created this in the hopes that other Girl Scouts will try out Geocaching or learn about GPS units. This is our first Geocache that we did to earn part of the "Find Your Way" badge.
This cache is not far off the path. No need to trample the plants to find it. The signal can be tough to hold in this area, so make sure you let your coordinates settle before giving up.
Hidden in a large urban park, the cache originally contained some very kid-friendly items: a couple of teeny-Beanie Babies, some cool keychains, some Brownie badges (good for swaps!), a Koosh ball and a couple of sketch pads -- among other things. Our troop would love to keep this cache predominantly for kids 12 and under, so keep it clean! :)
Part of the reward for finding this cache is the accidental scenic hike you'll get. Be on the lookout for animals! :) Please make sure to sign our guest book, snap a photo of yourself and please remember to come back here, log in and tell us what you thought of our first cache!
