Geocache Description:

2-PART CACHE: Hike begins in Berlin, Ct. Geo-cachers will hike on the fringes of New Britian, Berlin, and Southington. Approx. 4 total miles, for someone in very good condition with above average navigational skills. Wear old clothes cause you might get dirty in the rough terrain.

*Dirty Sandz is a challenging cache on Raggid Mountain starting in Berlin. Easy access parking off the Chamberlain Highway. Just branch off the highway onto West Lane and follow the road roughly 1/2 mile to the parking area located on the right (in front of the concrete blocks).

Parking coodinates: N41° 37.662 WO72° 48.190

**Part one of this cache is located approx. .75 miles from the parking area. This may sound easy, but keep in mind that Dirty Sandz has many obstacles surrounding him. So unless you brought climbing ropes, give yourself extra time to navigate to this first cache. Beautiful scenery awaits you, and Sandz anxiously looks forward to meeting you!

Cache coodinates: N41° 37.759 WO72° 49.065

When you find the cache, sit down and have a rest. If you brought a magic marker along, log your name, date, and a personal thought or two on the shirt. Now it's time to carefully plan your route to the next cache. Here, you will discover the hidden treasures of the man we call Sandz. The next cache is roughly 1 mile away, but if you've made it this far, you know that a Bee-Line route is an impossiblility. Dirty Sandz will be hard to find, so look hard and get your hands Dirty, Sandz will thank you.

*** On behalf of Dirty Sandz, I would like to wish you luck in finding his cache of treasures. A man I personally respect very much, Sandz has always been there for me when others have not. Deeply rooted in his beliefs and arms wide open to anyone needing a shoulder to cry on, please remember him as the humble, stoic man he's grown to be. In a world so grey, it's people like Sandz who bring hope, standing tall, dirty and reminding us that we're not so different after all. Myself and Ster have put great thought into this cache, please respect it. Give yourself the better part of a day to find Dirty Sandz, and you may not want to bring younger children on this one (PG-13). Also, keep your eyes open for our next project cache...Brought to you by Ginns & Ster Duo..Good Luck. Never stop Exploring
