A short but fairly challenging hike to a scenic overlook. This trail is not used often, hence it can be very overgrown at times. There is also a stream crossing that can be difficult in the spring and during rainy periods, so it may not be suitable for young children.
This is my 100th cache. I had a number of ideas for my "century" cache, varying from a totally lame Walmart lampost micro, to an incredibly difficult multi. Instead, I decided to place the kind of cache I like, a hike to an interesting area. I think you will enjoy it.
Best access is from Westbrook Rd. Because the area is surrounded by private property, I provided parking coordinates below. There is parking for 2-3 cars on the shoulder next to a driveway for 711 Westbrooik. Do not block or park in the driveway. Traihead starts across from the mailbox. (Note: the road you see on TopoZone near the cache is private and off limits. Please do not used this to attempt the cache as you will be trespassing.
