Geocache Description:

Welcome to Carson City, my hometown!

My family moved to Carson in 1980. But until recently I had never given this sleepy place much thought. But caching began introducing me to places I'd never seen, history I didn't know about, and fun new places that most locals are unaware of.

Nearby is the sign welcoming visitors to our town. But on the highway, it's so easy to just zoom on by and not stop to take a look around. So I placed this cache off the highway - stop and enjoy your first look at Carson City.

Access is best off Topsy Lane.
