You are looking for a 35mm film cannister. This site is at the convergence of 5 paths. The cache is around here ... somewhere. The paths are good and generally pretty flat.
Please park in the nearby industrial estate, do not stop or park on the A574 as it is a very busy road.
The area to the north of this cache is (and was) known as "Winwick Quay". This area provided sluices, maintenance yard with a dry dock and a couple of locks. Most of these can still be seen today and have been restored to some level by The Sankey Canal Restoration Society (SCARS).
