Welcome to Stricker's Pond Park located in Madison, Wisconsin. This beautiful natural pond was first formed over 10,000 years ago during glacial retreat at the end of the last ice age. The water levels on the pond have varied over the years due to drought conditions and in more recent times some of the water was irrigated away from the pond for agricultural purposes. Today, many volunteer groups help maintain the stability of this ponds ecosystem. For the human visitor this park boasts nearly a mile of hiking trails. Come out and explore.
