Here is an excerpt from UTM Campus News " ...A perfect fall day
provided an equally perfect setting for a vision to become a
reality Saturday, Nov. 14, as the first phase of the Brian Brown
Memorial Greenway was dedicated. The greenway, named for the late
Brian Brown, will eventually connect downtown Martin with the
city’s west side and the UT Martin campus, providing a
pedestrian trail for walking and bicycling.
Brown was killed in a July 2000 bicycling accident near Martin.
A UT Martin campus recreation staff member at the time of his
death, he envisioned a greenway that would provide a safe
recreational trail for area residents. After his death, individuals
and groups united to realize Brown’s dream...."
This is a very beautiful site for caching and getting out in the
fresh air. This cache was placed with the permission of the City of
Martin Parks and Recreation officials. Please be respectful of this
