[English]

Höjentorp is mentioned for the first time in the year 1283. During the middle ages the castle was owned by different noblemen and even for a time by the Bishop of Skara. The estate was taken by the Crown and became a Crown estate during the 1530's as part of the reformation movement .The medieval castle was demolished by marauding Danish troops in 1566. The large baroque castle was built about 1660 by Count Magnus Gabriel De la Gardie. His wife Maria Euphrosyne had received Höjentorp as a wedding present from her cousin Queen Kristina of Sweden. In 1722 the castle burnt to the ground and was never rebuilt.

Rehide the stash as you found it, placed it in such a manner that it don’t fall down.
