When I was a kid, we had text adventure games', with no
graphics.
See below to find out how this small
javascript will help you find the real cache.
Because the above file is hosted offsite, and to satisfy geocaching
rules I have to provided an alternative method of solving puzzle.
The picture gallery may help those who are not use to text
adventure games (he he).
Download and run the above zipped DogAdventure.html javascript, the
whole purpose of these games was not to provide much information,
you have to discover it on your own. Explore your virtual world to
find out 3 things.
- Lat
- Lon
- Necassary instructions on where the cache is located from the
Lat&Lon.
If you (or your kid) wants to ceate one of these adventure
geocaches, and you have an ok understanding of C or java, contact
me and I can help you create one of your own. The catch is that you
have to also create a cache for Somewhere In ND, if you can't
maintain a cache in ND, just write an adventure that tells us your
impression of ND, and I will maintain it for you.
If you can't write code, but have an imagination, and you can write
english (maybe even gooder then me). I will make one for you, but I
need the following:
- Draw me a map of your virtually reality.
- How do you get from one location to the other.
(N,S,E,W,Up,Down)
- What objects are in each room.
- What do those objects do to help you in your adventure.
- Provide detailed text of rooms, objects, and what happens when
you verb them (ie 'throw can').
- Location of cache.
This ia a safe program, that was entirely written by me. It a
javascript completely embedded in the provided html file, it has
only been tested under windows explorer.
NOTE: If you are unable to obtain the needed files, and are unable
to contact owner. Email approver, and cache will be disabled.
