Cache is in a local natural area. The cache IS NOT at the coords listed--rather the coords contain an item where the seeker can find the answer to questions below which take you to the cache. I also have listed a starting point to finding the listed coords. Small items in this cache...buttons, coins, etc...Please bring your own pen pencil to log your find! Coords of all way pts were checked multiple times from different directions and averaged.
This is the eighteenth cache in a series of caches I am loosely basing on the JRR Tolkien book "The Hobbit" AKA "There And Back Again" (almost HOME folks!)
Each Cache in this series will contain a clue that will be necessary to have in order to find a future cache. (designated by a multi-cache icon) It will be beneficial to write down each clue as you find the cache and keep it for future use. I hope to avoid patterns which will make future caches predictable. As all caches are found (not necessarily in order) the clues in them will ultimately lead to a final cache. Remember the placement of these caches is based on my interpretation of the book -and having to work within the limitations and my knowledge of the local area. I will give a general clue for each cache based on the story.

The area I have chosen for this cache is a natural area and is overgrown in a lot of places...kind of Missoula's own Mirkwood.
