Geocache Description:

A late summer camping/caching event open to all.

The Great Redmondo and The Royles proudly invite you to a late summer event based at the Brooklodge Farm Camping and Caravan park (visit link) The event will take place on Saturday 9th September commencing at 10:00 am with the release of new caches (if you are local to the area please volunteer your services to put some new caches out).

During the day, there will be a special childrens event on the site.

The day will culminate in a 'bring your own' BBQ commencing at 6:30 pm. In case of inclement weather, there is a covered barn area that can be used.

The owner of the site has very kindly agreed to waive the 'day visitor' fee so this event really is open to all.

On Sunday, Coffee, orange juice and croissants will be served free of charge at the Royle Redmondo Rumble Rendezvous (our caravan awning) from 09:00am onwards for those still in attendance.

In addition to the usual campsite facilities, there is a 25m swimming pool that is available for use by those camping/caravanning at the site.

Brook Lodge is situated on the A38 South of Bristol, near the airport (for anyone jetting in !).

To book a pitch for the weekend, please contact the site owners direct on 01934 862311 and ask to be grouped with the other Geocachers. Prices are £7.50 per adult, £3.75 per child (3-16) and £2.50 for electric hook-up (all per night and correct at time of going to press). The site has 64 pitches.

Once you have booked please ensure you post a note on the site so that we can keep track of numbers for the childrens event and of course the number of croissants we'll be needing.
