Come Have A Beer With Flipper Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

calumphing_four: I've decided to archive, as the original location was chosen as it had a webcam pointing directly at it.
But alas the webcam has gone, and the spot is rather awkward for surreptitious searching, so I won't be replacing in the same spot.
Hopefully I may be stop and find a better, less muggly spot, as it is a great area to visit with the anchors. $1 Tug boat and old Torpedo Station Gun.
It has been fun reading all the logs so far, and even more fun early on with webcam photos.

Cheers[8D]

Come Have A Beer With Flipper

Found a lovely view to enjoy each day whilst commuting to Mawson Lakes. Have stopped a few times and have seen the dolphins swimming by more than once.

It is quite peaceful in the mornings, but best of all, the view can be enjoyed by all, thanks to the webcam mounted on the Birkenhead Tavern, at http://www.birkenheadtavern.com.au/
In the picture below it is the small white blob on the front left corner post on the balcony.

The cache itself is found within the field of view of the webcam (it should be obvious where the small mint tin resides). Feel free to add pictures of other cachers if you spot them searching, or of yourself if you can get a friend to snap you. Nomad Penguin snapped Cal and me when we were there during a planning trip.

Chatting to Nomad

Enjoy the cache and the view - you just know you are going to be watched.

P.S The attributes were chosen, because you know you'll want to stay for a drink.
P.P.S You'll need to use "Print Screen" to grab the image from the webcam.

Note: The cache must be signed for a smiley. Webcam caches are no longer published, and thus a picture at GZ is not an option for a smiley.
