This cache should only be attempted during daylight hours.

I've been wanting to hide a cache in the Adams area for some time, but my GPSr always gives weird readings in this area. I'm pretty sure the Bell Witch has hexed my GPSr.

To outwit the Bell Witch and find the cache, you will first have to remove the witch's hex from the coordinates below:

    Hexed:                   Unhexed:
N24° 22.DEAD --> N _ _°   _ _ . _ _ _           (round off minutes as shown)
W057° 03.BE11 --> W_ _ _°   _ _ . _ _ _

Then, go to the initial coordinates given for this cache (36° 34.829N 087° 03.313W). Find the inscription for John Bell (1750-1820). Note the distances in 'rods' to John and Lucy's house and graves and perform the mathematical operations below:

Take the last three digits of the unhexed latitude and add/subtract as shown:

_ _ _ + (# of rods to house) - 213 = _ _ _

Take the last three digits of the unhexed longitude and add/subtract as shown:

_ _ _ + (# of rods to graves) - 402 = _ _ _

Replace the last three digits of the unhexed latitude/longitude with the results to complete the microcache coordinate:

Both locations you need to visit are on public land. Don't cross any fences or the Bell Witch will get you!
