Greenleaf Mine Road Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no response to my earlier post, I'm archiving this cache to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact me (by email), including the GC Code or a link to the page, and assuming it meets the guidelines, I'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

CR A016, also known as Greenleaf Mine Road, intersects with Hwy 26 approximately 5 miles northeast of Deming. The road is suitable for 2W drive vehicles. You can drive to within feet of this easy cache. You are looking for a decon container which holds a log book, pencil and some small trade items.

Meandering along the western side of Massacre Peak and the southern side of Cookes Peak, you’ll find this to be a pleasant drive if you don’t mind some washboard roads. In addition to three caches to be found along the route - Heading In The Right Direction and Apache Art Class are the other two caches - you can hunt for mineral specimens or view the remnants of the old mines that dot the landscape
