New York Admin: I regret to report that the cache owner has not responded to the prior note about this disabled cache. Others have repaired his cache and all he needed to do was enable the cache page but regrettably he failed to do it. Maintaining the cache page and logs is just as much a part of cache maintenance as replacing a wet log or fixing up a muggled cache.

I have no choice but to archive this one as an abandoned cache.

Geocache Description:

This is a two part multi. Terrain is mostly level with some sections of moderate elevation. Both parts should be fairly easy finds.

This turned out to be an even cooler hike than I anticipated. Park at the recomended coords above at the powerline trailhead. From there it's about .6 to part one. The intersection at Old Commack Rd and Commack Rd looks to be a hair shorter but in my opinion the suggested coords makes for a slightly more interesting hike. From part one to part two is about a .3 mile hike. Just North of part one is a trail that goes West. Take that to another trail that forks off to the right. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about on the topo map. From car to car this will be just short of a 2 mile hike.

Part one is a film can with the coords to the cache. The cache is a small Lock & Lock with the usual swag.
