How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Cache is a plastic camo'd bottle big enough to hold a few pens, a logsheet, and a large assortment of tokens, sig items and coins. Please stay with the theme if trading.

We've placed this cache in one of our favorite parks as a "token gesture" of appreciation to all who have in some way added to our great experiences in Geocaching. To those of you who have placed caches that we've found, placed caches that we are still working on, helped us with hints, directed us to resources, encouraged us to keep looking for those tough ones, arranged for the group outings, gone along on the hikes and long multis, given us ideas for new caches, helped us navigate the informal rules of Geocaching, this is our way of saying thank you. And let us not forget those often overlooked folks behind the scenes: the volunteer administrators of the Geocaching website.

Access to this park is free November - April. (Or park in the sports complex parking lot to the north of the Baylands Park entrance for free.)
  • At the cache site, you need not enter or step on any habitat whatsoever.
  • The cache is completely accessible from the viewing platform.
  • Please keep the cache attachment mechanism intact. To remove the cache, slide it away from you.
