Breathtaking scenery, interesting destination, excellent fishing near this cache.
Container is a round, brown (blends in with environment surprisingly well)cookie tin aproximatly 10 inches in diameter.
State Park closes near where this is stashed at 5 pm, though I'm not sure this is the case where the cache is actually located. Better safe than sorry though, I suppose.
Original contents: silver horse, new wallet, nose plugs, nice jar full of genuine Japanese wooden tops, box of Japanese matches, etc. Some of the stuff is pretty nice, so if you take one of the nicer things, please leave something equally nice or interesting. Some of the stuff is the more usual fodder- exchange what you will.
Excellent fishing for trout recently dumped in from a HATCHERY to be had very nearby (anyone familiar with my caches is starting to see a pattern here). I'd definitely recommend budgeting time to fish if you're the least bit disposed to that particular sin. It's a great place to teach little ones to fish. The good fishing is across the pond where the water flows in. Pros might be able to find a river delta somewhat nearby where the bigun's lie.
