Located at 6503 Sheridan Springs Road, White River county park opened in July of 2014.
The park encompasses almost 200 acres with 2 miles of river frontage. There are hiking and skiing trails and a kayak launch. Possible future amenities include a nature center and a sled hill.
Hunting and trapping are allowed in the park with a permit so it might be a good idea to wear blaze orange during the fall.
