This site in Fargo is near the recently developed NDSU Ag Experimen Station Horticulture Demonstration and Research Plots on the southwest side of the main campus, which has an extensive variety of ornamental flowers and grasses.

I've selected a place that should work in the undeveloped small grove of mixed conifer and deciduous trees.

Caution: a square-wire fence on the south side of the grove could be a tripping hazard where it is down in the grass. The ground is uneven with some weeds and trees could be thorny.

There is a small paved parking lot for visitors (5 spaces) on the west side of 18th St N.
