Geocache Description:

VERY EASY TERRAIN, THE BEACH USED TO BE THE SOCCER FIELD NEAR THE WATER

NUTTS POND GOT ITS NAME FROM COMMANDER NUTT, WHO WAS ONLY 29 INCHES AND WEIGHING ONLY 24 LBS. HE WAS DICOVERED BY P.T. BARNUM WHO WAS ALREADY SHOWCASING TOM THUMB. IT WAS SAID THAT NUTT LOOKED LIKE TOM SO MUCH PEOPLE MISTOOK NUTT FOR TOM THUMB, SO HE STARTED SHOWING THEM TOGETHER BILLING THEM AS "THE TWO SMALLEST MEN AND GREATEST CURIOSITIES LIVING."
