Der Schnittpunkt von 48. nördlichen Breitengrad und 15. östlichen Längengrad ist in der Region wohlbekannt: Bereits 1987 erhielt er seinen "offiziellen Segen" vom Vermessungsamt Scheibbs in Form eines hübschen Denkmals. Wer mit dem GPS anrückt, erlebt aber eine kleine Überraschung: Gemessene 48°N 15°E befinden sich - ca. 100m nordöstlich vom "offiziellen" Schnittpunkt - unscheinbar zwischen Wegesrand und einem kleinen Bächlein.
Der Cache ist der Ästhetik wegen am "offiziellen Platz" versteckt, bei N 47° 59.962 E 014° 59.932. Aufgrund des Geländes und der bei der Cacheplatzierung herrschenden Witterung kann die Koordinatenabweichung durchaus 10m bis 15m betragen. Bitte nehmt ggf. Hint und Spoilerbild zu Hilfe.

The confluence of 48 degrees north and 15 degrees east is a well known point in the region. In 1987, the land surveying office of Scheibbs mapped the point and a monument was raised there. The visitor who uses GPS may get a surprise: 48 degrees north and 15 degrees east are situated 100m north east of the "official point", between the wayside and a narrow creek.
The cache is for aesthetical reasons hidden nearby the "official place", at N 47° 59.962 E 014° 59.932. Due to the terrain and the weather at the day of placement, the coords might differ up to 15m. If you have troubles to find the cache, please decrypt the hint or view the spoiler pic.
