Cache Details

The cache is not at the posted coordinates, but it is nearby. While I was thinking up ways to spruce up an otherwise ordinary hide, I remembered a great cache a group of us found last year in Lincoln, Nebraska: Pixie_Tracker's "Pict-O-Cache" (GCJ7N5). This one is nowhere near as long or complex, think of it as a small tribute to the original with a lil' twist...it shouldn't take you long to complete, and hopefully it's something a little fun and different. I do hope you enjoy it, and as always - have fun and happy hunting!
Cache Instructions

To start your hunt, proceed to the posted coordinates. This will take you to the parking lot of Hidden Valley Park, at the intersection of 32nd Avenue and Boone Avenue, in New Hope. Park here, and look for the item shown in the first picture. Once you find it, walk over to the item and get as close to being under/over/next to it as possible. Stop and look around carefully, and you will hopefully spot the item in the next picture. Continue on in this fashion, from picture to picture, until you have found the cache at the location of the final picture.

Each item can be seen from the location of the prior picture. However, the pictures may have been taken at a closer or slightly different angle than the way you will you see these objects from afar. Once you get close enough, you should be able to verify that this indeed is the object you are searching for. Keep your eyes peeled, you can definitely "skip" pictures to get farther ahead - but keep in mind, I have selected each object to give you the proper viewing angle to the next one. If you skip one, you might gain some valuable time...or you might make things harder on yourself than you need to.

IMPORTANT: You will need a 3-digit code to open the final cache! The solution will be found along the way. Pay special attention to the three highlighted photos below: #5, #9, and #13. When you locate these three objects, examine them carefully to find the NUMBER on each one. Some additional instructions on how to find these numbers are below:
  • #5 - Locate the LARGEST number on this part of the object. (The lesser number is in the picture.)
  • #9 - Locate the number listed the MOST times in the sequence here.
  • #13 - Locate the ONLY number on this object here.
The final code will be these three single-digit numbers, placed left-to-right, in the order listed above. Please note, nimble fingers may be required to open the cache. Also, the container does not split open down the middle - you will need to pull on the END of the cache container to open it, then give it a twist to get the log out. Don't forget to reset the code when you're done, or the next finder will have an easier time than you did!
