The dirty golfball has been a constant in many people's geocaching experience, but did you know that there is a place that they go to die just like elephants?
I searched for this fabled location for many years and had given up when I saw a neat trick on an old Tarzan movie. I decided to try it out.
I shot a golfball and mortally wounded it. Then all I had to do was follow it to it's burial ground.
Be careful the location of this cache is very near the edge of a cliff overlooking 2 great Mammoth golf courses and the new Village area.

About the cache:
This cache was presented to me by CarleenP, at GeoWoodstock III. It's a GeoWoodstock II & III inside joke and far too long of a story for a cache page. Ask me at an event sometime and I'll tell ya the whole thang.
