トンネルワインカーヴとは、明治36年に作られたレンガ造りのトンネルを利用したワイン貯蔵庫のことです。廃線になったためＪＲ東日本より無償で譲り受け有効活用した施設です。全長は1,367.8m、幅3.57m-3.74m、高さ4.9mのトンネル内にはワイナリーやワイン貯蔵庫として利用されています。
カーヴ内の温度は年間を通じて6～14度、湿度は45～65％とワインの熟成には最適な条件がそろっており、約100万本のワインを貯蔵できます。ワインメーカー用（蔵置場）と個人用のユニットが用意されていて、レストランや個人用の1ユニットはワイン300本が収容可能で保管料は1か月2500円です。ユニットごとに施錠ができ、保管には万全を期してあります。
また、ワインカーブ内は入口付近の見学もでき、管理事務所では観光案内とワインの販売も行っています。

6-14 degree and humidity run during year the temperature in the curve and become complete the best condition in ripening of 45-65% and wine, and can store about one million glasses of wine. A personal unit for the winemaker (warehouse place) is prepared, it can accommodate 300 glasses of wine in the restaurant and 1 unit of personal, and the storage charge is 2500 yen for one month. Each unit can be locked, and it is ensured keeping. Moreover, it is possible to visit in the vicinity of the entrance, and Management Office is doing the sightseeing guide and sales of wine in the wine cave.
