Please park on the road as there are tombstones inside the cemetery that may be where you think you could park.
These coordinates will take you to a small cemetery on one of the many back roads of Door Co. The cemetery was started in the mid to late 1800s and was associated with St Joseph’s Catholic Church. The church was located about 1 mile west on the NW corner of Cty C and Fox Lane until it burned (date unknown) and was not rebuilt. Based on research by the Peninsula Genealogical Society some of the 22 people buried here were born overseas, often in Belgium. The most recent burial appears to be in 1941. There is a stone in this cemetery for Civil War veteran James Moses who was a member of Co G, in the 41st WI infantry who served in 1864.
This is not part of the cache but there is a little roadside chapel (the Destree Chapel) about 1-1/2 miles west on Fox Lane. There is a very interesting story inside that is typical of the many roadside chapels that once populated southern Door County.
The final cache is not on the cemetery property but is nearby. Please be respectful of the cemetery residents while searching for dates. If there are any mourners present please stop back at another time.
Once at the cemetery you will need to find the names on the tombstones we have indicated below and use the digits from the information on the tombstone dates to determine the final cache location. The name search will likely take you only 5-10 minutes depending on the time of year and the light conditions to read the engraving on the stones.

The A-clue is: John Smith died 19A7
When you find John Smith's tombstone it says:
"Born 1898 died 1937"
Thus N44 12.A45 becomes N44 12.345
