A little lure to attract some attention to this nice area for easy hiking with the family (the 2.0 Terrain rating is because of the placement, not the entire hike). Enter from the gate of the fire road at the end of Forest Hill Dr (this becomes Edison Rd FR).

Small tin container with several Smiley Stress Balls and a log sheet. Pen is included in the Ziploc weather deterrent, but be prepared to supply your own.

Placement can be tricky without the spoiler, but the hike is pretty nice. For the easier Tintin member see GCPRJ0, Jelly Tintin.

The surrounding trails will give way to some beautiful views of downtown (or as far as Long Beach) on a clear day. The Glendale PD does have a firing range in the vicinity, so heed the posted signs and stay away.

Certainly gone. I replaced it with a simple film cannister and log. Cheers.

I wanted to try someplace new today. I had never been to the Verdugo Hills area so off I went!

It probably wasn't a very wise choice to come here today. It was over 100 degrees and there isn't even a little bit of shade on the high trails here.

This was pretty miserable today. That corrugated metal was hotter than a pistol (and has some sharp edges too), I was sweating like crazy so the dirt and everything else was sticking to me and there was all kinds of plant stuff poking into my socks. Got it though!
