Mulkey Shelter 1934 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Chops1314: I'm Glad Seventy2002 made it yesterday cause this one is now history. As Seventy2002 was heading home on Petes Creek Trail a hiking buddy was going up the Quinault side for a night at the Shelter. I had asked him to pull this one if still there.

Thanks to those who tried and Congrats to those who made it.

I'll be back there is November when the snow is deep. [:)]

Until the Trail is cleaned up from the winter storms you will have a 8 mile round trip Under, Over and thru old growth timber for this Cache.

Mulkey Shelter 2005, Built 1934

The only thing I know about Mulkey Shelter is that it was built in 1934. I have searched for information about the Shelters in the Olympics off and on for awhile. If anyone has any information, please e-mail me.

This Cache is a small lock-n-lock container within 50ft of the Shelter.

The Cache is starting with 2 Coins and a Bug.
