I placed a cache two months ago at this wonderfully scenic
location, only to have it stolen before I had a chance to list it.
While you would think that this place wouldn't get much traffic
(finding the parking is a challenge), I have a feeling the area
kids know all about it.
That being said, you may have to think outside (or inside!) the
box to find the cache. It was easily retrievable by the short,
plump Cool Librarian, but if you have mobility issues, you should
bring a helper.
This is a beautiful spot, and a birder's paradise. Bring your
camera and binoculars and check out the Osprey in their nest. If
you letterbox, there is one very close by (so if you find a box
with a stamp, that's NOT the cache!).
Trailhead Parking:
From Rt. 28 in Harwich, enter BETWEEN Small Gardens and G. Rockwood
Clark’s Gardens by the Sea. It really seems like you are on
private property, but just follow the driveway around to the BACK
and keep going (stay to the left). You can park right at the end of
the boardwalk.
